LONGLIGHT

LONGLIGHT

Every light-year takes a minute. Every crew becomes a family.

Command a ship, keep its people paid and alive, and cross a frontier where nothing is instant – not the jump, not the money, not the trust.

The game

Life aboard is the game

Most space games skip the trip. Longlight is about it: the ship, the people on it, and everything that happens between two stars.

A ship that lives

Your crew has jobs, moods, routines and opinions. Talk to them by text or by voice. When something breaks, they don't wait for a script – they solve it, in character.

The journey takes time

Warp runs in real time: one light-year, one minute. Life aboard goes on – meals, repairs, arguments, the quiet hours between stars.

Credits, contracts, rivals

Haul cargo, escort, scout, take the risky jobs. Pay your crew every week, or they leave. And watch the Ironcranes – they want your contracts too.

An AI that is more than she should be

The ship's AI notices, remembers and talks back. At the edge of the map lies Amaranth – and maybe a way to give her a body.

Screens

Roadmap

Where we are heading

We build it step by step. Every stage is a game you can play – and none of the work is thrown away.

  1. The shipnowA single-player captain's game: one ship, one crew, one long story.
  2. A shared galaxyOne market, one contract board and one news feed for every captain. You see the traces others leave.
  3. Co-op crewsFly one ship together with your friends.
  4. Longlight OnlineA persistent universe in an arm of our galaxy, growing over time.
